inability to control pen

I have set everything to default because my pen on the Intuos 1 either lags or does not respond at all.  I have used this Intuos for a few months and more often than not the little arrow cursor has decided to pout in a corner as far away from my target s can be.

  Hi Diane Tigue, 

  Form your description, it sounds like there could be a problem with the pen sensor or the pen but I am not sure. 

  Can you please provide some more details? 

  • Operating system
  • Specific tablet model
  • Driver version

  If you could also make a video, it would be very helpful.
