Cintiq companion 2 can't find my network
So I didn't use my cintiq companion for around 8 years and finally decided to dust it off and play around. It had always had a battery issue to the point where it basically always has to be plugged in but besides that it worked fine.I hadn't used it in a very long time so windows was bugging me to update constantly and after a while I got fed up and decided to update over night. When I woke up I noticed that the power had gone out but it seemed like the update was successful the only issue is that my device no longer could find my wifi network. At first it can't find any networks but a few pop up after awhile they just are not mine. I reset my network settings and everything but it can't find it. If I go to past networks I can see and its still set to automatically connect but its like its out of range even though its literally five feet away.

I don't know which version of Windows you are currently on but I will assume it's Windows 8.1.
I would recommend that you reset your network settings first of all and then see if you can find your home network.

So I probably was before this update.
I'ts now windows 10 family. I've done a lot of trouble shooting to no avail.
I had a power outage after the update so i'm thinking this might be the issue. All
my other devices can find my network its only my cintiq companion 2 that cannot.

i've been trying to do this cause people said it worked but I get a few failed prompts because I can't
setup an admin account without internet. I'm still trying to figure the admin thing out
but i'm not great with computers.

Hi LARKIN SANDERS,
Internet connection is not required to give an account Admin rights.

Any way I just rolled it back to windows 8 and it fixed the wifi issue. Unfortunately while I was drawing today the screen started glitching out and went black so its pretty much just a paper weight now. Kind of saw this coming though it is a cintiq companion 2 after all. Thanks for trying to help though.
