Can any ball point pen be used with the paper clip?

I have a Intuis pro lg.  I want to add the paper clip.  I sounds like I can use any paper.  Any suggestions?

Also it says a fine tip or ball point pen can be used.  Does it have to be a Wacom pen? If so how long do they use.  The fine tip is around 100.00.  Seems pricey.  Any suggestions?

  Hello Terri Russell, 

  You can use any paper you would like, but you will need to use one of the Wacom pens for the paper mode of the Intuos Pro to work. Bear in mind these pens use the Wacom EMR technology to capture the pen position and pressure digitally while you draw on paper.
