Compatibility with Wacom Cintiq 13

I have a Wacom Cintiq 13 (not a pro or HD) and I am curious about the compatibility with different pens. I have a Wacom Pen 2K, and it will not connect to the Cintiq. Are they even compatible together? If not, I'd appreciate recommendations for pens to use. I can offer more information if needed, as I do not know what information is needed in order to determine the compatibility.

  The Wacom Pen 2k is not compatible. 

  You can use the Grip Pen (KP-503). Please check with your regional eStore for stock availability:
