    Hard to tell, but from your description, it sounds like a hardware issue with the sensors. 

    Does the same happen if you turn of Touch input? Does the same happen when you use the eraser side of the pen?

    Thanks for your answer. I think I solved the problem. I had turned off anything that had to do with touch in the settings, but somehow the switch on the side was on. Now that I've turned it off, the problem hasn't happened again.
