Education Discount Country issue

I am trying to see if I can register for the education discount to get a tablet, I am current enrolled in college in the United states. 

I almost immediately get this message "Regretfully, we do not have a Wacom Estore in your country so we are unable to offer discounts to you at this time."

This confuses me because this discount is advertised for students in the US, so can I not do this? I go to a very large school, which is why I thought I should be able to do this, but it says it is my country that won't let me.

Any advise?

  Really??? I tried to register under the US, is there a way I could reverify? I am in the US and go to school in the US, my account email is my school one.
