Move eraser cursor on cintiq pro 16 DTH 1620 so pen doesn't block it from view.
Hi. I own two cintiq pros from the same line, the 16 and the 24 and I only have this issue on the 16 which is my travel work tablet.
The issue is that when I flip my pro pen 2 around to use the eraser the cursor is so far to the right that i can't actually see the cursor at all, it's blocked by the pen. It needs to be moved just a smidge or two to the left but I can't seem to find any solution on how to do this and it effectively renders the feature of having the eraser useless but it's a feature i use quite a bit as i have a custom eraser i made in photoshop tied to it.
Is there any way to do this? I feel there must be. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

Hi Colin Davenport,
To be sure I understand correctly, what you mean is that the cursor position when using the eraser end of the Pro Pen 2, is physically obstructed by the actual tip correct?
Is there an undesired offset, or is it just right but you would rather have it slightly offset?
Could you provide a photo or video as example so we can make sure we understand this correctly?1 -
João Thanks for responding. I'll try to get a photo when i get home but it's probably not super necessary.
So when i use the pen side, I don't want the tip to totally cover my brush head when working with small brushes so when I calibrate the pen in the wacom software I purposefully do it so the cursor is offset a little bit to the left so I can actually see my brush and the area i'm painting.
There doesn't appear to be a way to calibrate the eraser end. The eraser end is offset too far to the right so even a large eraser cursor is totally obscured by the pen from my view so i can't see what I'm actually erasing.
This behavior only happens on my cintiq pro 16 and not on my cintiq pro 24. On my 24 the eraser cursor is by default offset to the left of the pen so I can use the eraser side of my other pro pen 2 easily without the cursor being blocked from view.
I'll try to assemble photos of the two for comparison when I get home and you can see what i'm talking about and why it's a problem.0 -

Here is a photo of the issue. On the top is the eraser cursor on my pro 24 which is literally perfect.
On the bottom is two angles of it on the cintiq pro 16 in question. The bottom a shallow angle so you can see how far to the left the cursor is and how it's totally hidden from view.0 -
Hi Colin Davenport,
Thanks a lot. The photos do help understand what you would like to see.
It does make sense to me.
Let me check with the team if there's any way to alter this or if we can make an enhancement proposal for a future driver update.0 -
João Appreciate it. I actually did a test to see if this was a pro pen 2 or tablet issue and it's definitely a tablet issue. Both my pro pen 2's have the same behavior on that tablet.
Also don't know if you can contact whoever is the team on the support site but you can let them know that login has been broken for over a week. The page just crashes out and gives an error URL anytime you try to login. maybe 1 in 20 times i can actually get to a login screen.0
