Pen not workinh

My Wacom is fully connected to my MacBook via cable, but for some reason I cannot draw on any app I use. It’s fully connected and when I press buttons on the top row of the Wacom they show up on my screen; is it the pen? It’s all brand new and I’m not sure if I’m missing something.

  Not sure which model or operating system you are using, but since you are using Mac, one possibility is that the permissions are not correctly set.

  If the problem continues, then please make sure all the connections are done correctly and that the tablet and the pen are detected in the Wacom Center.
