Wacom Cintiq 22HD disconnects at login
Recently I switched from using a Macbook to a Mac Mini M4. As a result, I had to change the DVI adaptor I use to connect my Wacom Cintiq 22hd to one which has a USB C connector in order to plug it to the Mac Mini. I also use another conventional monitor which is connect to the Mac Mini via HDMI cable. I have noticed that every time I turn on my Mac Mini, the Wacom Cintiq works as it will show me the login page. But once I log in, the Wacom Cintiq automatically disconnects, the conventional monitor will activative, and I would need to unplug the USB C/DVI adaptor from the Mac Mini and plug it back in for the Wacom Cintiq to reconnect. What could be causing the issue? I do not like unplugging and replugging the USB C adaptor daily as it will cause more frequent wear and tear.

Hi Joshua Chiang
I don't know what could cause the Mac to stop outputting the signal after log in but the fact that you have a signal to begin with and then it cuts out and that unplugging and plugging the cable back in solves the issue, means that the problem is with the source.0 -
Hi, thanks for the quick response. Just to check, by the 'source' you mean the tablet or the mac mini? I also noticed that it only happens when I log in at start up. When i leave the mac idle and comes back to it after it goes to sleep and have to log in again, the problem doesn't happen.

Hi Joshua Chiang,
The video signal comes from the Mac Mini so the source of the video signal is the Mac Mini and the receiver is the Cintiq.
