Driver 6.4.8 and Old Tablets
I'm a user with an older Cintiq 16 tablet. The newer driver updates which are removing calibration might be sufficient for users with new model tablets, but has proved disastrous from my perspective.
The latest 6.4.8 update completely tanked my calibration, and I had to go through the process of diagnosis, several restarts, uninstalling of the newest update, and installing of an older update just to use my device. Meanwhile the inclusion of a manual calibration option would have let me maintain and operate my device.
Not sure how many older users also suffered from this decision, but I'd be interested to know. I can understand why the decision was made, but it feels like a decision which doesn't show consideration towards those with older devices. When this tablet eventually wears down, I'll need to purchase another, and situations like this make it very likely I won't be getting another wacom product.

Hello Malcomb Davis,
We have removed calibration, but adjustments can still be made.
