CINTIQ 16 - different results when using mouse vs pen
First time user here, so forgive my ignorance. When trying to draw using the CINTIQ 16 pen and Corel Painter Essentials 8, I get a very light line, and seems like the color is not what I have picked. If I use the mouse, the line is very solid and the correct color... what am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Hi Hector Fernandez,
Welcome to the community!
The pen tip is pressure sensitive and some applications such as Corel Painter, will make use of this pressure information and transfer this into the stroke. With a mouse, the pressure is always maxed out instead.
I don't know exactly which brush settings you are using, but If I had to guess, you have set stroke width and opacity to react to pressure.
Maybe this also helps: https://learn.corel.com/tips/setting-pressure-sensitivity-velocity-brushes/
