Wacom Center not opening, not showing as installed
Hi, so I've been using a Mobilestudio Pro 13 for around 4 years now and I had downloaded the corresponding driver at some point, which also always opened the Wacom Center after start up. Loved it, since i messed with my sensitivity a lot.
About a year ago though, the Wacom Center stopped opening. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the wacom driver, but nothing worked. At the time I realized I could still access the Tablet Properties through my windows search bar, so the issue wasn't that pressing for me at the time and I left it as is.
Today, I realized my wacoms display colors are way messed up. I fixed what i could with the regular Windows Display Callibration, but there are some values I couldn't correct, so I looked it up and it seems you can further edit your display with the Wacom Center. Hence this post.
I fully uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it just now, but the Wacom Center is still not opening. It's not giving me any error messages, it just "loads" and then doesn't actually open anything. It also doesn't appear in my Settings' Apps section, but I don't know if that's normal.
Is there any way to fix this? Or any alternative way to correct my displays colors? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Sun Dumitru,
The same way you can open the Wacom Tablet Properties program, perhaps you can also open the Wacom Display Settings program if you find it in your system.
As for the Wacom Center not opening, it can be due to several different reasons:
- A corrupt .dll in your system - running all Windows updates and making sure everything is up to date might solve this
- The Wacom Center being flagged as a false positive on by Anti-virus software
- Other Windows issues
If 1 and 2 don't solve the issue, to know exactly what the cause is, please check on the Windows Event Viewer for error messages related to Wacom

Hello João, thank you for your reply!
I wasn't able to open Wacom Display Settings, nor does any Anti-Virus software seem to be blocking the Wacom Center from opening. Could the issue come from not having updaded to Windows 11 yet? Since the Mobilestudio Pro doesn't support Windows 11.
I checked the Windows Event Viewer and the event name was APPCRASH. Does that help narrow anything down any further than you already have?Thank you again for your help.

Hi Sun Dumitru,
Windows 10 should be fine.
APPCRASH is not enough information. There should be more info in the Even Viewer that we can use. Like error code app that is crashing, app that is causing the crash.
Something like this:

I hope this is okay:

Hi Sun Dumitru,
The faulty module is the microsoft.ui.xaml.dll which is a Windows system file. Please try the following:
- Uninstall the Wacom driver - https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500006264601-How-do-I-uninstall-and-re-install-the-Wacom-driver-on-Windows-for-a-Pen-Tablet-Pen-Display-or-Pen-Computer
- Install any pending Windows updates
- Run the Windows system file checker - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-file-checker-in-windows-365e0031-36b1-6031-f804-8fd86e0ef4ca
- After you completed these steps, please reboot and reinstall the Wacom driver

Hello João,
I followed your instructions but unfortunately nothing changed. When I ran the system file checker it said nothing was wrong, no corruptions were found. I also had no updates pending.
microsoft.ui.xaml.dll is still listed as the faulting module in the Event Viewer. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
Thank you for your help so far

Hi Sun Dumitru,
I'm not sure. I did some research around and didn't find much on this.
Maybe try the steps here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-fix-windowsuixamldll/6c63de66-1191-4314-abe8-81988e9fba97
