Pen doesn't work with clone stamp tool in Photoshop
My Wacom pen doesn't work with Photoshop's stamp/clone tool.
What could be the reason, and how to rectify it?

Hi Rudra Sen,
That is interesting. Does it work with any other PS tools?
The tablet itself is just a peripheral that will provide the operating system with cursor coordinates and click events (as well as pen pressure and other modifiers). This means that if the tablet works fine throughout the operating system and Photoshop, then there might be a setting issue with this specific tool. Perhaps something pressure related?

Hi Joao,
It works with all the other tools. As you rightly pointed out, it may be something to do with pen pressure.
But surprisingly, pressure works perfectly when I'm using the brush tool. I don't know if one can set pressure individually for two tools.
If you know some direction, then it would be invaluable.
Thank you so much for your attention and participation.0 -
Hi Rudra Sen
Photoshop allows you to set pressure differently for each brush.
I would recommend you to check this page for more information: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/tablet-support-faq-photoshop.html0 -
Hi Joao,
Thanks a ton for your suggestion. I had to download software for Mac OS 15 and select the clone source (attached screenshot), and now it's working perfectly.
Thank you once again for your input.0
