The pen simply doesn't work when I open any software

It's a general issue: I've tried several Adobe and ZBrush solutions, for example, the cursor doesn't move. The pen stays static and only works on the desktop or on Google. I've tried everything online, like reinstalling the driver, but nothing has worked. It's not the software that's the problem, nor the settings. Someone please help. I've been like this for months.

  Thanks for reaching out. 

  I am a bit confused. The pen and tablet should always behave similar to a mouse or touchpad.
  In other words, if it works on your desktop or Chrome as a pointing device - meaning you can control the cursor - then it must work on every other application. 

  It is not possible for the pen and tablet to work on the desktop and that you lose control of the cursor when you switch application. At least I have never seen this in the last 10 years. 

  Can you please confirm: 

  • OS Version
  • Wacom Tablet model
  • Wacom driver version
