    Hi Kyle Schottmuller

Thanks a lot for reaching out and for explaining your needs.

Currently there is no device in Wacom's portfolio that can do both. I do have a couple follow-up questions:

    • Do you use a laptop or desktop mostly?
    • Which applications do you use?
    • When working outside, is it a café, or an office? Or maybe the train?

When looking at devices that can do both (display connected to computer at home + portable stand alone device) you need to consider the whole workflow and how all the tools play together.

I use a desktop pc and Clip studio.

As for the last question, public transport and cafes are place I work, but mostly outdoors is where I want to be able to draw. Parks, hiking trails, if I can put it in a water tight sleeve I'd even take it out on the lake or river (not worth the water risk without protection though. . .).

    Hi Kyle Schottmuller

Then the Movink Pad would work well for your use case. It comes with a 2 year license for ClipStudio which seems like a good benefit for you.

The only feature you will miss is being able to use it as a pen display connected to your Desktop computer.

If this is really that important to you, then stay tuned and follow us on the usual Social Media channels. We know this is an important feature and we want to do something about it in the near future.
