Cintiq 22HD screen randomly goes darker in places

My Cintiq 22HD's screen randomly goes darker in places when I have not used it for a few minutes.If I turn it off and back on it usually goes back to normal but not always.If it has gone darker in places and doesn't return to normal after several attempts to turn it off and on if I leave it for a while and turn it back on it returns to normal.Any idea whats going on ?

  Hi Connor Flynn, 

  I'm sorry but I am not sure what you mean. The Cintiq 22HD is quite an old model and as far as I recall, there are no local dimming features. 

  Can you please elaborate and show an example? Perhaps this is an OS feature? Or perhaps the backlight of the Cintiq is just not as powerful anymore?
