    Hi Jocelyn Crosby,

Can you please confirm which Wacom device you are working with and with which operating system?

From your description this reads like a connection issue. The fact that you see the "USB (L)" indicates a temporary loss of signal. Could be a problem with the source of the video (the computer), or the connection(the cable(s) or adapter you are using).

I assume you have a Wacom One display or a Movink which have very similar connection schemes. Please check the connection points to make sure they are sturdy and not wiggling around. Also, try a different cable (or cables) if possible.
If you are using direct USB-C to USB-C connection, make sure the USB-C port on your computer meets the required specifications.

I would also recommend you to check the steps here: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500006336902-My-Wacom-Pen-Display-has-no-image-on-the-screen-What-do-I-do
