Feature Request: Keyboard Shortcut for Display Toggle
Hi Wacom Team,
I’m a dedicated user of the CTL-472 and really appreciate its simplicity and reliability. One feature I’d love to see added is the ability to trigger Display Toggle via a keyboard shortcut, rather than assigning it to one of the tablet’s two buttons.
With only two physical buttons, it’s tough to balance essential functions like undo, pen mode switching, and display toggle. A keyboard shortcut would allow users to preserve those buttons while still switching displays efficiently—especially in multi-monitor setups.
I’ve noticed that XP-Pen tablets offer this functionality, and it’s been a game-changer for users with minimal-button devices. Adding similar support to Wacom tablets would be a huge quality-of-life improvement and help maintain Wacom’s edge in usability.
Thanks for considering this!
Best regards,
Anas

Hi Anas Hisham,
This is a request we have been getting for years but it is no something that can but just a simply implemented.
When you are working with your tablet on your drawing application, that application will be receiving the keyboard inputs from the Operating System, not the Wacom driver. There is no consistent way for the Wacom Driver to bypass this and even if there was, there is no saying how that would work along with the active application. Probably some other shortcut would activate while you also trigger display toggle and you would need to disable this shortcut manually on every application.
