Wacom Cintiq 16 pen not connecting
-
The fact that the pen is not being connected, suggests a connection issue. However, it is strange that the pen works until you reach the login screen.
Based on what you shared, I will assume you are using Windows and the latest Wacom driver (if you have not installed the latest one, please do so).
I suspect there might be an issue with a USB driver on your computer.
Can you please try the following:
- Unplug the USB cable portion of the Cintiq 16 from the computer
- Open the Windows Device Manager
- Check for any warnings under Human Interface Devices and update the drivers: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-drivers-through-device-manager-in-windows-ec62f46c-ff14-c91d-eead-d7126dc1f7b6
- If there are no warning, plug the Cintiq 16 cable back in and make sure the "Wacom Tablet" entry appears under Human Interface Devices - check again if there are any warnings
- Reboot the computer
If this doesn't help please let me know.

Hello João,
I followed all the steps and my pen is still not connecting. I didn't find any warnings under Human Interface Devices all my drivers are up to date. My pen did have some input when I pressed "Roll Back Driver" under Wacom Tablet in Human Interface Devices. The driver went back to USB Input Device (2006) and my pen worked as a mouse for my computer monitor. When I switched back to the main driver (the latest up to date one) for Wacom Tablet, my pen stopped working again. Do you have any other suggestions?

At this point, we would need to collect more details to really understand the behavior.
Can you please collect some logs and report to the support team:
