6.4.11-2 driver is laggy at photoshop liquify
I'm using pth-660 with new driver 6.4.11-2. It is lagging when using photoshop liquify, but 6.4.11-1 doesn't have this problem.

I assume you are using a Mac computer. Can you confirm which OS version and which version of Photoshop?
Is the lag only happening with liquify? The main change between both versions is a fix that was created to address the inability to click in certain Mac OS UI items as you can see in the release notes: https://cdn.wacom.com/u/productsupport/drivers/mac/professional/releasenotes/Mac_6.4.11-2.html

Yes I'm using Macos Tahoe 26.0.1 and Photoshop 26.11.0, mac is m4 max with 48 gb.
6.4.11-2 good for everything but when photosop liquify with 4-5 click then lagging.
If i return 6.4.11-1 liquify is smooth but ui click doesn't work

I'm trying to reproduce your issue but I'm not having any success. I'm using an M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM, the 6.4.11-2 driver, and Photoshop 26.11.0, but I'm on the macOS 26.1 Beta 2 build at the moment. I'm going to revert to the public release channel of macOS 26 so that we're testing on the same OS version.
While I do that, would you be able to provide step by step instructions that explain how you're reproducing the issue? I'll follow those as soon as they're available in the hopes that we can figure this out together.

Updated 26.1 Beta 2 but same.Lag is too little, try same file with 15-20 second on liquify, you will notice little lags.

Are the little lags occurring right at the start of new strokes using the pen? If so, I suspect I know what's going on and will need to escalate this to our Engineering team.

That little lag at the start of new strokes is the distance/time in which the driver is determining if you're performing a click or a drag. Once it exceeds a certain threshold, the event turns into a drag. This obviously needs better timing. I'll be reviewing this with our Engineers to improve on this behavior for our next release.

6.4.12.3 has same lags when using photoshop.I'm using 6.4.10.3 and it's way better

I'm currently expecting our new driver with the fix for this issue to be posted to our website tomorrow. The issue was caused by a workaround we put in place to allow pens to click all areas of the macOS UI. Apple resolved the underlying bug for that in macOS 26.3, so we're now removing our workaround. You can expect the functionality of this to match what you're seeing with 6.4.10-3.
We've had great success with internal testing and even a few individuals and partners outside of the company. I look forward to hearing your own feedback once the new driver is made available.
