Calibration of display dont work in latest driver 6.4.6-2
I resently updated the driver to 6.4.6-2 (latest release) on my windows computor (windows 10).
After that the problem with that the cursor of my pen ( wacom art pen) snaps to the border of my Cintique 27QHD. I had solved that in previous driver release (allthough I have forgot how). Now its back.
It is releated to having the touch on or off on the cintique. The cursor only jumps to the border of the screen if the touch function is on.
I have windows ink on. I have windows gestures on in the wacom tablet properties under
Touch > Touch option > gesture recognizer > "use windows gestures".
I figured "maybe I need to run the calibration again?"
When I try running the calibration the calibration crashes.
the process reaches the first part when one shall point to the first corner of the screen with the pen. After I point to the first corner and mark it the calibration shuts down (after 1-2 sec after i mark on the screen").
So I figured that maybe to whole driver needs to be reinstalled and deinstalled.
When I try unistalling wacom tablet from
Windows settings > apps > wacom tablet - > i get a C/Program "this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one already installed, create an association in the default Apps Settings page.
So i look under C/program and no wacom folder. Instead there now is a "Tablet" mapp.
So I open this mapp. And in it is a wacom mapp. That have the latest driver. But no unistall file.
Lots of question arise.
1. How do a user uninstall now?
2. How do I run the calibration of the cintique 27qhd?

Hi David Hanson,
I had this before on one of our test units. Your description matches a defect with the Touch sensor. You are getting ghost inputs (meaning the sensor thinks it's being touched when it's not). This is not some thing you can fix on the software unfortunately.
You can check with your regional support if the device can be repaired, or you can just disable touch permanently.

Do you know if there is a way to uninstall the wacom center to be able to reinstall it, so I might recalibrate it now that the software has updated to 6.4.6-2?

Thank you for your reply Joao. The problem is that the latest update av un-assosiated the wacom tablet app with its uninstall file. Se my explenation above.
So I can not follow the instructions you give since they aply to a program that have a uninstall file in its installation folder.
Could you advice me on what is the name of the.exe file that is the unintall file for wacom tablet. So i can search for it on the computor. There is no unistall file in the folder that keeps the wacom files.
When i push the button "install update" in the wacom center (the 6.4.7-3 update) nothing happens so I have to asume that the wacom center program is corrupted beyond repair and I would like to unistall it and begin again.
