Intuos S Pen issues - it doesn't register at all?
My Inutos S (CTL-4100) pen is unable to connect to the tablet. The tablet's buttons work fine but the pen does no register at all. I have tried this on both windows and mac, reinstalled + restarted drivers for both, switched out the nibs, and none of them have fixed the issue. I also tested a second pen for the tablet (bought a few months ago) that also doesn't work. It was working fine around 2 days ago when this issue suddenly arose. My friend's older Wacom tablet/pen still functions when I used it on the same computers.

From your description, there two possible causes:
Either the tablet sensor is defective and needs to be replaced, or you are using an incompatible pen.- Are you using the original pen that came with the tablet or a different pen?
The compatible pen with this model is the LP1100 - https://estore.wacom.com/en-de/wacom-pen-4k-lp1100k.html - If this pen was working fine and is no longer being detected by the tablet, when the tablet is defective and needs to be replaced.
