WACOM Input issue (does this require a certain USB to be interfaced to the "Type A" and "Type C" in the 24" touch
I'm renovating, so my normal desktop machine isn't available at the moment and I've been waiting longer than I could bear to open my 24" touch Cintiq display (I bought my first some decade ago before the first touch was released). Anyways, the screen lit up and worked perfectly using just the HDMI coord that comes attached. The Laptop (M2 Ultra) MacBook Pro I have it attached to should have sufficient muscle to handle the display, but I'm now receiving a message "Input video is not supported". I know that the pens used to rely on the usb bandwidth, so I was thinking the usb cords in play may be the problem. Any advice would be appreciated (well, if it gets this baby working any ways...even if the advice is use your real PC). :)

I should have titled the message "Input video frequency is not supported" on MacBook Pro M2 Ultra 1TB 32GB etc. I didn't have the usb's both plugged in when I had it running off the bat (and there weren't any literature or discs/flash with the product) so I had to download all from your site.

Hi Richard,
As you said, the video and USB components operate separately. This means the input video issue you are experiencing is only coming form the source of the video has has nothing to do with the USB data transmission.
Can you please clarify which exact Cintiq model you have?
Please try the steps here: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500006336902-My-Wacom-Pen-Display-has-no-image-on-the-display-screen-What-do-I-do-
Change the connection around a little bit and see what works. If you are using an adapter with your M2 Laptop, try a different one, or avoid it if possible.

I figured it out! It is actually the cable itself. As newer cables come out, older one cannot handle the refresh rate. I had the same issue with my macbook pro 2018. I ended up having to get a HDMI 2.1 to USB c, but the key think is to make sure it was an 8k with a refresh rate of 240. It still drops to a refresh rate of 60, however, if you buy a 4k with a 60 refresh rate, when you convert it from HDMI to usb c, it drops to 30 and is no longer supported.
