Intuos Pro M no longer working on battery power

My Intuos Pro M suddenly stopped responding to any inputs when disconnected from a power source.  The battery is showing 100% charged.  None of the buttons or pen react to inputs even though one of the white indicator lights is illuminated on the dial.  When I plug the tablet into my computer, everything works normally.  This would lead me to think the battery needs to be charged, but the battery is showing 100% charged as it is.

Any ideas?  Thx!

  I resolved the issue by uninstalling/reinstalling Wacom Center on my computer.  Something must have gotten corrupted.
