On-Screen Shortcut freezes computer

I have a radial on-screen shortcut menu mapped to the button on my Wacom One stylus. I typically keep it pinned so I would have to press the pen button a second time when I need to close it, as I would normally need it open if I want to use the Undo shortcut multiple times.
The problem is that at some points I would habitually close the menu in the middle of pressing the on-screen button, and it seems like every time the menu is closed in the middle of a task it stops the stylus from registering before it completely freezes the computer.
I don't believe I've had this problem until the latest update to the wacom software, but it appears that even reinstalling the old drivers keeps the same updates to the on-screen shortcut interface. Is there a way to work around this bug, or will I have to just try to slow down my button presses now?
