wacom mobile studio pro 13 pen space mapping incorrect

so, for a while, possibly years now, my mobile studio pro13 has had an alignment issue, the cursor is misaligned with the pen. the closer to the edges of the screen the pen gets, the more severe the distance. this issue is explicitly related to the pen, and cursor alignment, occurring on even desktop, i have spent many hours attempting to fix this in a multitude of ways, double checking various related setting, options, from the obvious windows ink option, all the way to examining and combing over various driver and device options and beyond in the various corners of the windows 11 OS(but nothing requiring actual programming knowledge)

this is not solvable with the pen calibration, i have spent 3 hours attempting to even so much as mitigate the issue via repeated calibrations, trying various things, with no noticeable improvement.

i have deduced that the issue lies in a improper/bugged mapping setting/value.

however, seeing as there is no mapping option in the wacom tablet properties UI for the MSP13, so i am unable to rectify this under normal means. i have attempted to locate an alternate method of resolving this issue, and found no way to access or affect this setting on this tablet model in any of my endeavors.

i want to fix this, without needing to factory reset the tablet or something else equally "blunt" that involves blanket-nuking the many personal settings and so-such. there has to be a way to fix this.
