Cintiq Pro 24 Not Recognized by Wacom Center and Pen/Buttons not functioning.
Hello, randomly my Cintiq Pro 24 has been giving me a variety of issues out of nowhere. One day, when I connected my Cintiq to my computer, it wasn't recognized by the Wacom Center. In addition to this, none of the buttons at the top right of the tablet were working either, I couldn't bring up the settings or display settings like the brightness, etc.. It seems like my computer is just recognizing the tablet as another monitor, as it will display my computer and act as another monitor, but nothing more. I have tried a ton of things to fix this, including:
- Restarting the tablet
- Trying different USB ports on both the tablet and computer
- Trying a whole new USB cord
- Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the Wacom drivers manually
- Trying USB-C instead of USB-B
- Making the tablet my primary display and not primary display
- Completely unplugging the tablet, uninstalling the drivers again, restarting, searching my computer for all relevant Wacom files and deleting them, restarting, reinstalling Wacom drivers, restarting, then plugging in my tablet in all the ports with USB-C and USB-B.
When I did the most recent thing, the only thing that changed was the button at the top of the tablet that allows me to switch between HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, etc. started to work, but none of the other buttons worked, the Wacom Center still says that no devices are connected when a device is connected, and the pen still does not work.
Please help :(

Hi Lindsey Hudson,
Thanks for the detailed explanation and for trying to solve the issue on your own.
I am sorry to read that you are still having issues.
At this point, I would not exclude a defect with the main board but there are still some few steps we can try before we come to any conclusions.
Please contact your regional support team for further advice:

Hi Lindsey,
Hopefully you've fixed your issues after 7 months, but I found this post when I was looking for resolution to my own issue. After trying almost all of the same things you did with no good results, I tried a powered USB with success. A $20 WalMart fix.
I noticed that when I deleted a few of the cache files that I saw on one post, it worked momentarily after restart. Then I saw a popup in my screen about "Not enough power for USB device" and it was back to not working.
Looks like something is going on with power settings that keeps the tablet connecting. Maybe an apple OS update? Who knows. But so far, the new Hub is working fine.
Here's a link to the one that I purchased. Nothing fancy, but it has a wall outlet to give the tablet more juice. Hope this helps!
