Can't use my tablet
Hi something really weird started happening recently . I've been having my tablet for a while now and it's been the love of my life , i love it , used to work great , easy to use , but for about 3 weeks or so everytime the pen gets close to the tablet , the tablet disconnects by itself , at first i thought it was a problem with the usb plug , i tried multiple others but none worked , every time the pen touches the tablet it disconnects. I really wish i could make it work again , please help!!!

Hi misuto 307,
Sorry to read this is happening.
From your description I am not sure what could be the cause. Can you check for a few other things?
Can you tell us the Operating system, tablet model and which Wacom driver you are using?
Also, can you please check if there is an error message in the Wacom Center when the disconnect happens?
Cheers

I'm having an Wacom Intuos S (2018) CTL-4100 , Windows 10 and i'm currently using 6.4.5-5 , I don't get any error message it just simply disconnects when the pen touches the tablet and i really don't know what to do

I've also done a driver check and it seems fine

Hi misuto 307,
At least we know there is no driver issue.
So just to make sure I get this right, what steps are you doing to make the tablet connect to the computer again?
If you:
- Unplug the USB cable
- Reboot the computer
- Plug the USB cable again
The tablet is then detected by the Wacom Center?
Then you over the pen over the tablet and when you touch the tablet surface with the tip of the Pen, the tablet disconnects and no longer appears in the Wacom Center. Is that correct?

Hi misuto 307,
Sorry for the late reply.
In over 9 years, I have never seen this issue so I am not sure what the actual source of the problem is. I don't suppose you could test this with a different computer? Just to rule out some potential USB port issues...
Aside from that, it could be a problem with the tablet mainboard which means the tablet would need to be repaired / replaced.
