My drawing tablet(CTL-672) driver is not responding
Hello community and experts!
I've been facing numerous issues with the drivers. I've checked Reddit, YouTube, and Medium, but haven't found a solution that works for me.
System:
- Windows 10
- Wacom CTL-672
Problem description: Most features, like pressure sensitivity, seem to work fine, and there’s no issue with the tablet itself (it's brand new). However, the drivers aren't functioning properly. I've tried resetting, reinstalling, and using older drivers, but nothing seems to fix the issue. Here's a list of what I've tried so far:
Steps I've taken:
- Reset the driver
- Unplugged and reconnected the tablet
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver
- Installed older versions of the driver
- Restarted services
- Added a custom script to bypass errors (tablet shuts down)
- Checked the Event Viewer (only error shows the app not recognizing the driver)
- Tried alternative software (can read the tablet but can't configure anything)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just to be sure I understand correctly, what is the exact issue and error message you are seeing? What driver version do you have currently installed?
You state that the tablet works fine but you have issues when you open the tablet driver correct?
