pen cursor jumping around abruptly

i got an wacom one CTL-672 the year before last, but it always had a problem were the cursor abruptly jumps around the entire monitor and sometimes locks in the top row of the monitor, i saw recently a scratch on the table sensor, could it be the cause of the problem?

  Hi Alvaro Oelke, 
  The scratch on the surface doesn't seem deep enough to affect the pen sensor, but it does seem like the pen sensor has a dead band - meaning that it won't detect the pen in a fixed portion of the screen. This is not possible to fix so the tablet will need to be replaced.
