Cintiq Pro 27 Background Bleed
Hi, i recently bought a Cintiq Pro 27. I notice that there's considerable amount of background bleed. I don't nescessarily notice it in Photoshop when working. But I do notice it if I have fairly a dark desktop background in windows, meaning its clearly visible in darker images - not just when its completely black. The Background bleed is clearly a lot stronger on this device than any of my cintiq Pro 24's and even a lot more than any of my 32" regular IPS screens that cost a fraction of what the Cintiq Pro does. Which is kinda disappointing on such a premium device.
Can you please look at image attached (taken in a regular dark room, but with light from another screen to avoid longer exposure time, so this is what I actually see). Is this as expected or above normal? if I were to send it in, could I expect a better version in return - or is this the average quality of these displays?

Hi Joachim Barrum,
Hard to really say from the photo, but that looks within specifications to me.
Here is our information on this subject: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/14142321032983-What-is-Light-Leakage-or-Light-Bleed-on-a-LCD-screen-and-what-to-do-with-your-Wacom-Display0 -
thanks yeah I think it is. It's just kinda disappointing for a display that cost 5K. I wish Wacom would increase their screen quality because everything else about this tablet is amazing.
