Thunderbug stuck in Cintiq 22???
I'm not sure how exactly it was able to get inside but there's a tiny thunderbug about 4 pixels in size walking around inside my screen and I have no idea what to do. It's incredibly annoying and the Cintiq is designed in such a way that you can't take apart the tablet in any way without voiding your warranty and/or damaging everything. As something I paid almost a grand for this seems like a monumental oversight in the design unless mine is just particularly faulty and it's only taken until now for something like this to happen.
I keep my living space very clean and it appears to be just the one insect, so I can't see why or how this happened, and I'm at a loss for how to get it out of there. I have diagnosed ADHD; part of that being attention deficiency. So naturally having a tiny animal walking around directly in front of my working space is completely unworkable what with the added distraction; and makes me frustrated to the point I've given up.
And at that, looking into the lifespan of what I assume is this species, they can live upto 45 days. I can't realistically not work for over a month so I'm at a loss. I've tried shaking it, slapping it, putting a lamp near the vents and leaving sugar/honey out near it so the animal will hopefully find the way out on it's own. But the fact I'm having to do any of this for a £900 piece of equipment is a bit ridiculous.
What would you recommend I do? Can I get someone to look at it? Will Wacom help me? This is such a bizzare issue but it's put a halt on everything for me. It might sound ridiculous to be this annoyed by something so small but I'm at the point I may have to buy a whole new tablet; thinking Huion...
