    Hi, Carl Dershem

    Thanks for reaching out.

It could be dust or something else triggering the sensor. It is not possible to know without opening the device which we only recommend to be done by our repair team.

If this only happens sporadically, there is probably not much to worry about but if you would like to have the device checked, please contact the support team directly: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402518273943-How-do-I-contact-Wacom-Support

So.... blowing compressed air in (while it is off) is not recommended?  I was also thinking it might be dust, but the community has been having a lot of this issue with this model, which makes me wonder if it is instead a firmware issue.

    Hi Carl Dershem

I never personally tried with this device but I have done it on other devices. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it does nothing.
