"Security settings prevented the Wacom Software from posting an event"
hi i have a wacom intuos pro PTH-660 and a apple macbook air m2 with ios ventura 13.3i have used this wacom on other devices before but now when i try to use it on my mac i get the "Security settings prevented the Wacom Software from posting an event" notification. i have tried everything to fix this. I have allowed all wacom applications on all my settings i have deleted and re downloaded all the wacom applications restarted my computer and still nothing has worked i just get the same notification

Did you maybe import your account into your new Mac?
If yes, please try the following:
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy and unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon in the bottom left corner
- Scroll to Accessibility
- Manually remove com.wacom.IOManager using the "-" button
- Reboot the Mac
- Wait for the "Security settings prevented the Wacom Software from posting an event" message to pop-up again
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy and unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon in the bottom left corner
- Enable com.wacom.IOManager again
- Test the pen and confirm if the "Security settings prevented the Wacom Software from posting an event" is still prompting

I found the solution
This is what worked for me: Re-install the Wacom driver software, restart mac, remove the com.wacom.IOManager.app entry from Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility with the [-] button. Restart again. Go back and check the com.wacom.IOManager.app entry. RESTART. And it works!

An UNINSTALLER is desperately needed for Wacom software.
The security settings for Mac OS 14 (Sonoma) prevent the installation and operation of a new Wacom tablet if any trace of an older Wacom installation remains in place.
Components of Wacom's software are installed all over the System: In System> Library, in User Library, in Applications and in the Dock.
Most Users will never be able to find all of them so an UNINSTALLER should always be provided by WACOM as part of any new software packages.

hello, im using a mac 10.15.7 then I have a wacom intuos p s c490, it has the same problem, popping out " security settings prevented the wacom software from posting an event" i checked all the the requirements like in the "accessibilty" and in the "input montoring" and still not working!

Macbook Pro M1max, OS 13.4.1 (22F82) -
This pop-up is impossible to close, software is impossible to uninstall, I did this:
- Uninstalled via uninstaller
- Restarted
- Popup kept appearing, software didn't uninstall
- Tried with the Settings-accessibility instructions
- Wacom Manager was enabled already, I disabled it, laptop crashed
- Forced Restart
- Popup reappeared, can't be closedThis pop-up has been showing for a week, is there anything Wacom, it's annoying having to move it to a corner to just be able to work. I wonder why it suddenly happened.. Hope you guys can help

If the pop-up is appearing it means the driver is really not properly uninstalled and is trying to restart again.

Hi there! I have the same problem as many in this thread. It also started when I moved an account to a new computer. And I tried the solution above to solve it. But...
1. I uninstalled the driver with the Wacom Tablet Utility.
2. I downloaded and installed a new driver.
3. Then I go to Preferences/Security/Accessibility to remove com.wacom.IOManager.app. But there is no such file there to remove. Actually there is no files for Wacom at all.Not after a restart either.
