Newest driver, now lagging in Lightroom CC
Does anybody else have the same problem?
Switching from Develop mode to Grid in Lightroom CC, gives as turning wheel for 5 till 10 seconds. As soon as I remove the tablet PTH-660 from the 27" Imac 2019, Ventura 13.6, everything returns to normal.
A few months ago, I already removed all Wacom software from my computer and re-installed it. Now the newest software works with the shift e.o. keys. But now a new problem.

Hi Gerlo Beernink,
Do I understand correctly that this only happens when switching modes? Does the wheel eventually stop and the system return to normal, or only when you unplug the tablet?
Can you please collect some logs and report this to the support team?

Hi Gerlo Beernink,
I am experiencing the same behaviour: when switching modes in Lightroom Classic CC The cursor freezes / is not movable with the pen on the tablet (but with the finger on the mousepad) and catches up on the movements I made a few seconds later, but in slow-motion…
After a few seconds, everything works fine again.

Yes! I've ben having the same issue in Lightroom when I switch between Library and Develop modes. It takes a full 10 seconds for the cursor to engage. I try to move the pen and the cursor moves in slow motion before it allows me to click on a command.

I just discovered that when I de-activate GPU acceleration in Lightroom, there is no freezing anymore…!

GPU is there to make things faster. Might work. But the lagging also is between Photoshop and Lightroom Also it takes at least 10 seconds for the Wacom to wake up after the Mac revives from sleep. Went to everything with Wacom. They couldn’t do anything to solve hé problem.

Hi, same issue here (MacOS 14.3 on a Apple M1 Max)....
When I switch off GPU acceleration, the mouse keeps working! (thanks for the tip)
But the interface is much slower...
Hope they can fix it!

I'm giving up on wacom. The lag issue persists withe Lightroom and it has become an unacceptable problem for me. I bought my wacom pad less than a year ago because it was wireless. It never functioned well wirelessly, and I was willing to live with that, but now, this lag issues has been going on for months and it's crazy-making. I work in Lightroom almost everyday and Today I reached my limit. I actually downgraded to my Wacom intros CLT4100, installed the latest driver, but I am still experiencing lag time issues with this one too. I'm done.

Hi s benton,
Can you clarify what you mean exactly and which operating system you are using?
Lightroom has been historically known to not to behave that well with Wacom tablets, specially when adjusting sliders.Perhaps it would also help to report this to Adobe?
It might also help the check the performance settings for Lightroom here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/optimize-performance-lightroom.html
