Mac Driver issues (on … off … on … off …)
I have been a Wacom user for about 25 years - always on Mac. One would think, that Wacom had the skills after so many years, to construct a fully working driver.
And I can live with the fact, that I'm typically one release behind with my operative system (Mac OS X) behind, simply because I am a Wacom user, and for some reason it takes FOREVER every time, to release a driver for the next OS.
But this is off course because, that it has to work ROCK SOLID … like it does on that older version os my OS.
Oh wait … that doesn't work either!
My tablets (I have two PRO tables) keeps turning on and off, which is SO frustrating. It seem that I am not the only one frustrated by this:

And the I realize: This issue has been going on for at least 5 month, still, it has not been fixed yet! (yes, I have the latest driver).
How is this even possible? A bug this severe should be fixed in a week … MAX!
Wacom … I am deeply disappointed with your lack of skills. Are you working hard 24/7 on this? I guess not …
All I ask is that my pen works properly … just the pen. No buttons, but finger touch … just the pen … PLEASE!!

Hello Gunnar Kristiansen,
The On and Off issues were addressed with the latest Wacom Driver for Mac:
Could you please confirm this is the version you have installed? If already installed, and you still have the issue, then perhaps there are some old lingering files and could cause issues so please try to do a Manual uninstall and reinstall of driver and see if that helps.
If you still have issues after the clean install, then please collect driver logs and contact our support team:

Hello João
My driver is version 6.4.4-5 and it says "No updates available", so I assume that is the case.
What do you mean by clean install - exactly?
Thanks

Tried to make a support ticket and upload the log. But it is not possible. I get a red message: "The upload took too long, connection was lost."
Log file is 526MB.0 -
By manual uninstall, I mean to completely remove the driver and all lingering files manually to ensure there is nothing left.
As for the upload, the system has a limit and cannot support files that large. You can also upload to an online file storage service option of your choice (Google Drive, iCloud, WeTransfer, etc... ) and share the link

Hello again
I have done all that - including 3x restart as the guide for a complete un-install prescribes, and re-installed the latest driver.
The problem persists …

Then we need the logs to have a closer look.

So, I have packed the log and uploaded it here:

Please let me know what you find out, thanks!0 -
I've been having the same issue, with no real fix in sight I re-installed an older driver that I had no issues with 6.4.0-6 and so far so good!

I have also installed the 6.4.4-5 as per Wacoms suggestions. Still have the same touch on off issues too.

I found a solution:
I switched off the physical "Touch Control" button on the tablet itself - Problem GONE! ✅0
