Intuos Pro keeps disconnecting WIndows 11
Hi!
Suddenly my Intuos Pro won't connect after I shut down my computer and boot it up again. But if I reconnect the USB cable it works again with no problems. Bluetooth works flawlessly even after rebooting my computer. I've tried a different cable and it's still the same. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and it still didn't work. It seems I have to reconnect the cable every time I open my computer. Is this a known issue or is it just mine? Or is there a problem with my tablet?

Hi A. Doyac,
I have not seen this issue yet. When you boot the computer with the tablet already plugged, is the power LED on the tablet ON?
Also, please try a different USB port. If you are using a desktop, connect it directly to a USB port on the mainboard, and avoid using a USB Hub if possible.

Hello! Thanks for replying.
Yes, the LED and the tablet is on once I boot up my computer. I've tried all my USB ports and even tried a different cable and the problem still persists.
Sometimes after I boot it connects immediately with no problems but most of the time it fails and I have to unplug and plug the USB cable again for it to work. It's weird because besides that there are no problems after it connects.

Following as I have a related problem. I have to unplug my USB cable and plug it back in to get my pen and right click configged button on my tablet to start working again. The touch pad on the tablet continues to work as normal but the pen and right click function on the tablet simply stops at some point.

Hi Larry Kyosai,
When you start your computer, please open the Wacom Center > Settings and run a Driver check. Restart the driver if needed.

If this fixes the issue, please then turn on the Driver logging function and restart the computer.
Once you have done this, please report to our support team as described here: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/10010268158103-I-want-to-report-a-driver-bug-How-do-I-collect-Wacom-driver-logs-

Driver check says everything is good. I restart the driver and still have no functions other than the touch feature working. Only thing that allows the pen and buttons on the tablet to work again is when I unplug/plug in the USB cable. I submitted a ticket with the log file. Deleting and reinstalling the driver, changing cables, using a diffferent USB port on my Windows laptop did not fix the issue.
Thanks

Adding to this thread as I am having the same issues reported above. Wacom Intuos Pro (brand new). Every time I boot up my computer the tablet doesn't connect properly. The touch features work but the pen doesn't. Wacom Center says there is nothing connected. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in (sometimes a couple of times) it fixes it. After that it shows up in Wacom Centre, I can check the drivers and everything is running as you would expect. Like the others above I have tried deleting and reinstalling drivers and using different USB ports. If others are experiencing the same issue it doesn't feel like an isolated problem. Has anyone had any luck sorting a fix?

I'm having the same issue - uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and all the Wacom Intuos Pro tablet seems to do is connect and then discinnect - tried installing the new drivers - same issue.
Totally unusable and totally unacceptable).
Is there a fix coming anytime soon?

I'm having the same issue! Minor inconvenience but just annoying having to unplug/plug in everytime I boot my computer up

I was able to workaround the issue by uninstalling the app/drivers and downloading an older version of the app/drivers - not ideal, as this should really be addressed by Wacom and it seems as though there has been ample time to implement a fix, seeing as how this has been an issue since July 2023

Wacom support had me try adding a new temporary admin. If the problem persisted then he said it was probably an operating system issue. The problem didn’t go away so his suggestion (which I am not going to do) is as followed:
“ I'm afraid that indicates an issue with the operating system itself.
I'd recommend to perform a system refresh or reset. You can contact Microsoft on this matter.”-1 -
@everyone
I have not been able to reproduce this yet. Could you please collect the logs and submit them to the support team? This would really help.

Joao,
How do I submit the log files? Is there an open ticket?

Greg Witt Thanks a lot for helping with this already.
Generally, you can create a ticket following the steps here: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402518273943
In your case, I have created a ticket already and you will receive an email to which you can reply.

I have the same problem. I need to plug the cable out and back in at each restart. I have a fresh build on Windows 11 and I had no problem until a couple days before. I've uninstall and reinstall driver and still have the same problem, so still waiting for a solution here :/

Hi Nicolas Cataldo,
In conversation with Greg, the steps here solved the problem: https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500011495022-How-do-I-uninstall-manually-and-re-install-the-Wacom-driver-on-Windows-for-a-Pen-Tablet-Pen-Display-or-Pen-Computer

Hello,
thank you for such a quick answer. I've done the steps and it worked after a simple restart of the computer but then I tried a full shutdown and came back 10min after and the problem is back.

After going through all of the above steps without success, I was told I should do a system refresh which I did not want to do. After living with the issue for about 5 months (unplugging the usb/plugging it back in so the computer would see the tablet), now the issue somehow fixed itself. For the past month, every day when I restart my PC, my Wacom Center app now sees the Intuos Pro M device and my pen/touch pad work like normal. Very weird.

I have the same exact problem to the T as Doyac. I even did all the troubleshooting he did. I'm on windows 11.

Mine works all of a sudden for a month now with no issues. I did something but I don't know if this is what fixed it. I'll tell you guys what I did and maybe it'll help. So, before, I had my cpu, and monitors plugged into a surge protector. Everyday after I was done with my cpu, I would turn off the cpu and I flipped the surge protector switch off. Now, I just turn off the cpu, turn off my displays and leave the surge protector on. Since I did this no issues. I'm not saying this fixed it but this is all I did.
